Tuhituhi

Tuhituhi walt: about the damage that the rain has daon over the past few days in canterbury. We have had big pondles and  a lot of blocked gutters and darius in Christchurch over the last couple of days. We  have  had to try and stay away from the surface flooding.This has been caused  by some of the drains being blocked with leaves and the water can’t drain away the water.

The flood has caused sewage and other pollution.If you come in contact with the polluted water you have to wash yourself and wash your clothes.

Some schools have been damaged and have to work in the hall.some of the power cells have been flooded and damaged. There have been evacuations from some houses.The rivers have broken their banks there has also been strong wind of gusts.
